On the 16th October 2014 at the Business Design Centre in London, Management in Practice will be hosting their latest free event “Can Practice Managers save the NHS”. Led by an address from Dr Robert Varnam, Head of General Practice development at NHS England, Management in Practice London will examine the role of management in maximising resources and improving outcomes for staff and patients. Management in Practice Events have been enhancing practice managers’ knowledge of all the key, practical issues since 2006.

We are proud and delighted to be attending this event and supporting the Barnsley Clinical Commissioning Group with their presentation titled, ‘Barnsley Clinical Commission Group Improving communication and access for 200,000 patients’. As you may have seen in our most recent news article Barnsley CCG have recently installed our Patient Partner system within 30 of their 37 Practices. We are very proud of this system and we look forward to collaborating with Barnsley CCG again during this event.

The event starts at 08:45 with the Barnsley CCG presentation at 12:10. After the presentation there will be an interval of one hour for lunch, which is provided free of charge and an exhibition. The event will then continue with more presentations and will conclude at 15:40.
