The Voice Connect Lone Worker App is available to all of our users and works on both Android and Apple phones. Voice Connect believe that the best way to ensure that our customers get the most out of our system is to make access as easy and flexible as possible. All users not only get the App but can also access the system by phone (mobile and landline) this is alongside any specialist lone working devices they may wish to use. This flexibility enables any organisation to deploy Voice Connect’s lone working services with the confidence that the solution will work for all its staff, not just some!
LONE WORKER APP JOBS
Voice Connect’s App has a simple intuitive interface that enables users to quickly and easily setup a “job”. All of Voice Connect’s lone worker services work around the concept of a “job”, this is the period of time that the lone worker wants to be monitored and means that if they are incapacitated in any way, help will still come. When a job isn’t cancelled an alarm is raised at Voice Connect’s ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre). The ARC team will then follow pre – agreed escalation procedures to best ensure the safety of the lone worker. Without the “job”, if a lone worker was incapacitated and couldn’t trigger an alarm the ARC team wouldn’t be aware of the incident.

APP KEY FEATURES
Job Set-up and Start – Login to the app and using the selector set the time you wish the job to end. You can then simply record a voice message explaining any pertinent information regarding the job. This could include where/who you are visiting and any dangers that may be already known such as a history of violence or dangerous environment.
Job Extend / Stop – Enables you to stop or extend a job that is coming to an end.
Reminders – The App sets a reminder in the phones calendar of when the job is coming to an end in, helping the user to remember to extend or cancel a job where necessary.
Alarm Button – Once a job has been set up the App can be used to trigger an instant alarm, ARC staff would then follow pre-agreed escalation procedures.
Tracking GPS – The App uses the phones GPS functionality to report the user’s position when an alarm is triggered.
